Flagpole Installation

High buildings, in or on the ground, Hi-Fliers (Flagstaffs) Ltd can install your flagpoles!

Our installation teams are highly skilled in ensuring that our flagpoles remain securely in place. This is why we handle all installations in-house, without subcontracting. Installing a flagpole requires professional expertise, considering critical factors such as stability and security of the structure.

From our pre-fabricated concrete blocks, galvanized wall mountings and hinged base plates, all fittings are thoroughly tested and only the best fixing systems are used.

Hire Flagpole Block

Our concrete blocks are for our hire flagpole solutions and provide a stable and temporary foundation to keep the flagpole secure during the rental period. These portable blocks are designed for quick setup and easy removal, offering stability without the need for permanent installation. Suitable for events or temporary displays, they ensure the flagpole remains upright and safe, even in windy conditions.

The heavy duty hinged ground attachment is a hot dipped galvanized steel base which allows for precise adjustment and ease of erection and lowering of the flagpole. We have developed a method of installation that allows for virtually immediate set up of the flagpole, saving time in waiting for the concrete to set and eradicates hinge movement and includes a precast concrete block with intact hinge mechanism; these are manufactured to specific dimensions and can be used for flagpoles up to 12m.

Wall mounted brackets come in either cantilever vertical or 45 degree positioning and standard for vertical 20-45 degree positioning with adjustable arms. These brackets support flagpoles from 2-6m. Flagpoles from the cantilever bracket come with a tube embodied into the flagpole during production, which is slotted into the wall bracket and secured by means of a bolt.

These wall brackets incorporate a hinged base plate system supported on a steel platform fixed at a height about 150cm from the pole base. These wall brackets fit flagpoles ranging from 6-10m.

Maintenance

Even though fibreglass flagpoles do not need mechanical maintenance, their ancillary fittings need to be checked and where necessary replaced. Halyard can fray causing breakage which will result in the loss of your flag.

Wall and ground fittings should be checked on a regular basis to ensure stability for the flagpole and of course flagpoles do need to be cleaned as well as flags changed.
